Imagery licensing, export control, data handling and the security practices behind all three services.
Three published tiers, chosen at order time and recorded against every scene:
| Tier | Permits | Does not permit |
|---|---|---|
| Internal | Use inside your organisation, including derived analytics | Publishing the imagery, or supplying it to third parties |
| Commercial | Redistribution inside a product, publication with attribution | Reselling the raw scene as imagery |
| Government | End-use by a named public body and its contractors | Transfer outside the named end-user without approval |
Derived products behave differently from raw scenes: a field-level index computed from our imagery is yours under every tier. The distinction is between the pixels and the conclusions.
Earth observation data is regulated. Some resolutions, areas and end-users require approval, and some we will not serve at all. We check this at feasibility, before you order, and we tell you the reason rather than returning a vague failure.
At the resolutions we sell, individual people are not identifiable, and we do not sell products designed to track individuals. Requests to monitor a private residence are declined. Where imagery covers areas with specific national restrictions, those restrictions are applied at order.
Encryption in transit and at rest, per-project API keys with scoped permissions, role-based access in the console, and an audit log covering who ordered what under which licence. Delivery URLs are signed and short-lived. Connectivity customers get network monitoring data over the same authenticated channel.
We are direct about our stage: formal certification work is in progress and we will not imply an audit we have not completed. If procurement needs evidence, ask and we will show you exactly where it stands.
Ordered scenes stay available in your account for the term of your contract and are deleted on request. Order metadata is kept as long as tax and licensing records require. Link telemetry for connected sites is retained for 13 months, which covers a full seasonal comparison.
For network builds, we hold or obtain the licences the link requires and manage the permit process with landowners and authorities. Where a path needs coordination with an incumbent, that work is part of the design phase, not a surprise during the build.
