Questions, answered plainly

If something is missing, write to hello@atolys.com and an engineer will answer.

If a satellite passes within the window you need, a standard tasking order is delivered within 24 hours of capture. Rush tasking on the next available pass delivers within 6 hours. Cloud cover is the usual reason a capture slips, and you are not charged for a capture that fails the cloud threshold you set.

Optical down to 50 cm ground sample distance, multispectral at 3 m for vegetation and water analysis, and SAR at 1 m for imaging through cloud and at night. The archive holds lower-resolution basemaps for wide-area context.

No. Ordering is by area of interest with a 25 km² minimum. You pay for the polygon you draw, not for a fixed tile.

Yes, with SAR. Radar is unaffected by cloud and works at night, which is why it is the default for flood mapping, maritime monitoring and anywhere with persistent cover.

Enterprise service over low-earth-orbit capacity: typically 50 to 200 Mbps down with latency in the 30 to 60 ms range, depending on the terminal and the plan. It is designed for sites where fibre is not available or as a diverse backup path.

Yes. That is the third part of the business: microwave and fibre backhaul, private LTE and 5G, tower and rooftop infrastructure, and integration of satellite links into an existing core network.

You receive a licence to use it, with the scope set by the licence tier you choose. Internal use, commercial redistribution and government end-use are priced differently. The licence terms are published rather than negotiated per order.

We operate tasking on our own small optical fleet and hold contracted capacity on partner constellations for multispectral and SAR. Where a product comes from a partner, the specification and licence say so.

Coverage depth varies by region and sensor. Search returns exactly what exists for your polygon with dates and cloud cover, so you never buy a promise.

Almost. Some areas are restricted by national regulation or export control, and we will tell you plainly at feasibility rather than after an order.

Cloud-optimised GeoTIFF by default, JPEG 2000 on request, GeoJSON for vector products, and XYZ or WMTS tiles for web maps. Metadata follows the STAC specification.

Sometimes, through partners, and the service level will differ. Ask with the coordinates and we will answer honestly.

Rarely. The minimum order sizes and the survey-first approach suit organisations. A one-off archive scene is the exception.

One address, one number, staffed by engineers who can see imagery orders and link telemetry on the same screen. Critical connectivity customers get a four-hour response target.
