How the service works
Atolys holds capacity on low-earth-orbit constellations and resells it as a managed service with our own routing, monitoring and support on top. You get one contract, one bill and one number to call, with the terminal, the router and the link under a single service level.
We are honest about the physics: this is not fibre. Weather affects the link, capacity is shared, and a site under heavy tree cover will underperform whatever the brochure says. The site survey exists to find that out before you sign.
Installation
A survey first, then a scheduled install with mounting, alignment, cable runs, power and commissioning. We hand over a document showing the measured throughput and latency at handover, so any later dispute starts from a number rather than an impression.
Service levels
| Tier | Availability target | Response |
| Standard | 99.0% monthly | Next business day on site |
| Business | 99.5% monthly | Same day remote, next day on site |
| Critical | 99.9% monthly with diverse path | 4 h remote, 24 h on site, spare terminal held |
Availability excludes the satellite operator's own published outages, which we pass through transparently rather than hiding in an annex.
Data and fair use
Plans are sold with a monthly priority allowance, after which traffic continues at lower priority rather than stopping. We publish the allowance and show consumption in the console daily, so nobody discovers a limit by hitting it.
Imagery over the same link
If you buy both services, we size the link for the imagery you actually order and schedule bulk delivery outside your working hours. A weekly multispectral capture over a large estate is a predictable amount of traffic, and it should not be competing with a video call.
